There are wine trails through Australia, fromage trails around France and now …

The Cook Book Trail!

If you had forgotten (ah-hem), I have been involved in creating The Cook Book Sevenoaks Tonbridge Tunbridge Wells which has been published and is available to buy now (list of stockists at the end). It is a beautiful book, full of wonderful recipes and, actually, it also serves as a great guide to eating out in west Kent.

Whilst we were busy working on the book, the other four creators and I decided that we would like to visit all the contributors together – we didn’t all meet every contributor – and so the idea of The Cook Book Trail was born.

We plan to visit or sample the wares of every contributor in the book and we started this month, enjoying brunch in Vittle and Swig, Tunbridge Wells. We are visiting Sankey’s next in January and here’s the exciting bit, we’d love you to come along too and kick off your own Cook Book Trail!

Date: 17 January 2019

Venue: Sankey’s, Mount Ephraim

Cost: £25 set menu

Tickets: Free BUT limited on Eventbrite http://bit.ly/2QoDwuQ

If you haven’t bought a book yet and if you don’t receive one from Father Christmas, books will be available to buy on the night. This is not linked to Tree of Hope at all, it’s not a fundraiser; it’s just a chance to meet with friends and embark upon your trail.

If you make any recipes from the book don’t forget to post your creation on Instagram with #thecookbooktrail too – we love to see what you’re cooking up!

Mr Sankey has kindly donated a prize for 12 Days of Feastmas so look out for the competition on the website, Facebook and Instagram at 9am Monday 3rd December!
