CK Thanks for all your help over the weekend with my Mediterranean veg soup question – look out for the next review so see what that’s all about! I have been very quiet I know but I am still trying to bring you news of the foodie goings on in Tonbridge – some of the news I’m not allowed to disclose yet (so hard!!) and others, I’m just waiting to hear final details.
One bit of news I can reveal is that there will be a new cafe in the computer repair shop at the top end of the High Street near the Ivy House. The man who owns it is retaining the computer help desk there, adding in a photography shop and a small cafe. He wasn’t sure when it would open but it sounded positive. Turns out that he used to run a restaurant in Westerham before turning his hand to computing so this isn’t just a whim – he has catering history! He also hails from north Africa so I’m hoping for some great teas and treats from that part of the world.
I’ll pass on the opening date when I know!
Today, someone has told me about a possible sushi restaurant coming to Tonbridge – does anyone know about that? Let me know if you do – lots of news I share with you starts with a tid bit from you lovely lot so keep it coming!
