The Cook Book Trail! If you had forgotten (ah-hem), I have been involved in creating The Cook Book Sevenoaks Tonbridge Tunbridge Wells which has been published and is available to buy now (list of stockists at the end). It is a beautiful book, full of wonderful recipes and, actually, it also serves as a great guide to eating out in west Kent.

Exciting news for Tonbridge! The Nelson Arms on the corner of Nelson Avenue & Cromer Street in the Barden Road area of Tonbridge has been bought by Matthew Rudd and Emma Cole of The Windmill in Weald. The Windmill is award winning and has a great reputation for its beer and food so it's fantastic news that their expertise is coming to Tonbridge.
Back in April Eat Around Tonbridge introduced you to the Rynehart family. The Ryneharts are on a mission to shun supermarket food shopping and favour farm shops, feeding their family with seasonal, local produce. They extol the benefits of this approach - tastier meat & poultry, seasonal veg, creative cooking, minimal wastage and understanding the origins of what they're consuming.
