Under new management!
The Dovecote is hidden away on the road between Tudeley and Capel, almost blending into a row of cottages. Mr EAT and I had a date night and as I was willing to drive, we decided to try somewhere further afield, new to us and somewhere that I hadn’t heard any of you discuss. This very welcoming and homely pub was a pleasant surprise.
Nancy’s Tea Room opened in August, after teasing us with its makeover for quite some time (previously there were some public loos there!). It’s a quaint looking bright white, timber building near the river, Tonbridge Park and the High Street. The signage is traditional and the overall effect is one of nostalgia for tea rooms …
